IOSH 13 – Maybo, stand E25

Conflict management specialist Maybo says it partners with organisations to incorporate robust workplace violence reduction strategies into their health and safety culture.

Through policy review, risk assessment, training targeted and tailored to job roles, and post-implementation evaluation, the company says it helps its clients identify and address key areas of risk and effectively manage these for a safer and more positive outcome for their staff and service users.

The latest addition to its suite of training resources is the online conflict management and personal safety awareness package. Said to feature modern imagery, realistic scenarios and interactive exercises it uses a mix of learning styles, offering a real alternative to face-to-face courses at awareness level, according to Maybo. It also works well for induction and refreshers, and as pre-learning for a skills workshop. The system includes a management system to track and monitor learners’ progress.

Maybo chief executive, Richard Smith, said: “Increasingly, employers need flexible and cost-effective training resources and advice in achieving positive and tangible workplace outcomes.”
